- Its revealed The Purge had ALWAYS been founded on a lie, rather than being gradually warped by the NFFA. The NFFA sent mercenaries into the test sight to make murder seem like something an ordinary person would do. They continue this even after the economy stabilized solely for their sick pleasure.
